the 12th Annual First Light Discovery Program announced!

Theater of the First Amendment conducts its last official order of business under the TFA banner with the 12th annual presentation of First Light, our new play development program, featuring three new plays-in-progress by Mason students.

Readings of new work will be presented on Saturday, May 12, in TheaterSpace, on the Fairfax campus of George Mason University.

Three playwrights have been selected from among a competition sponsored by TFA and Theater at Mason. Each playwright will work with a professional director and dramaturg in further development of their play. Readings will be open to the public, and there will be an opportunity for audience response to the playwright after each reading.

Admission is Pay-What-You-Can at the door (cash & check only, please).
